a comfortable hotel with stunning views of vineyards and a fifteen minute walk to the centre of Beaune where there are some excellent gourmet restaurants.
Very large and cosy room, view to the vineyards, good place for relaxing, a short drive distance to the city, good breakfast served on a varanda by the vineyards, feels like you really "in" Burgundy. I really enjoyed to sleep at night and wake up in the morning watching those hills across the vineyards.
The staircase to the second floor, narrow and very inclined.
Food a cook unworthy, and for a ridiculous high price. No real children's menu. Pictures on Booked.net do not reflect majority of rooms.
The room was comfortable, bed large. Air conditioned and this helped as the night was quite cold. It was nice to watch the sun set across the vineyards from our room however it was not quite as i imagined the location to be "set amongst vineyard". Breakfast was good but I think only one staff noticeable. My husband said he had the best meal of our trip in the dinning room ' beef bourguignon". Town was not that interesting but the drive out around the vineyards was wonderful. We were only passing through. We are used to "cellar doors" in Australia where you can call into vineyards for tastings but this did not appear to be the norm in this area. Tastings occured in premises in the town centre more not in the vineyards themselves.
The property was a bit old. There was nothing we didnt like, however, the hotel was advertised as being situated in amongst vineyards. It did back onto the vineyard but was in fact on a main road not far from town centre.
The views of the vineyards was great. It was a wonderful location for visiting the wineries and exploring Beaune. We walked into town.
good breakfast choice, lovely views of the vineyards from our superior rooms. It looks like a motel though when you arrive and cars park outside their rooms. This was a disappointment to us as it was really more like a motel. Dinner was expensive but very good quality. The wines were overpriced.
phone did not work. Reported 3 times but they never fixed it. Also shower was faulty and only fixed the night before we left (we had been there two nights already) but they did give a 20 euro discount for the problem and a free bottle of wine.
This hotel is in a beautiful setting just a minutes drive outside Beaune. The pool was perfect for our teenagers (and my husband) It is plunk i the middle of a vineyard, and the breakfast was exceptional....sat on a patio over looking these vineyards! Room was clean, spacious and the view awesome!
good location on our way to the south of france
execellent location among vineyards good stopping place on route to alps
Excellent room - very quiet and extremely comfortable Reception staff fantastic
Happy with the accommodation experience but sorry found restaurant to be disappointing and cannot recommend. Food ok but consider wine to be overpriced - 28 euros cheapest bottle of wine on offer. Restaurant service unacceptably slow on our visit - perhaps short staffed that evening. One other point to make for future guests to have a copy of the Booked.net reservation when paying and check it against the bill. We did not and only reailsed later we had been charged rack rate - 118 euros - instead of the rate quoted on Booked.net - 105 euros
Good location just off the motorway. Only 10 mins walk into the centre of town for restaurants. Excellent stop off point when travelling down to the South of France.
Room was a little bit small. Breakfast expensive.
Excellent location. It takes about 15 minutes to walk in to the centre of Beaune or 2 minutes in a car. In 3 minutes you are in Pommard. In a further 5 minutes in Meursault. Like taking a sreoll through some of the finest wine areas on the planet.Nice swimming pool and very good, if expensive, restaurant where you can drink wine made from the vines that surround the hotel.
Hotel was well presented. Staff were helpfull and location very good in terms of the wine growing areas off the back fence. Swimming pool was enjoyable. Room was a good size and all fittings worked.
Bathroom fittings were a little "tired".
A easy walk into Beaune for a evening meal..good friendly staff. Also w enjoyed the pool and a quick sunbathe after our 6 hour drive up from the cote de azur..
no bacon for breakfast
Great restaurant, fabulous dinner and very good breakfast!
